I haven't been riding or surfing ADV much lately, trying to get back into playing bass.

Found a pretty good blues band, with one guy on vocals/keyboards/harmonica, me on bass, and a drummer. Auditioning guitar players this weekend to complete the project. No name yet, probably won't play out for a month or two.

I am going on a road trip down to Arkansas on my ST1100 in a couple of weeks though.

Back after a hiatus. Never posted much because my Triumph Daytona 675 wasn't dirt worthy. Fixing that situation this week. Trading it for a '12 800XC. I'll be making it to some euro nights and Saturday breakfast/rides. Too short notice for this weekend's adventure but I'm sure you will have a good time. Pics soon!

Lads,

I posted a bit earlier I had some extra mx tires I was looking to get rid of, and here's what I got:

3 Michelin M12 130/80-18
1 Michelin S12 130/80-18
1 Bridgestone M402 110/100-18
1 Bridgestone M78 110/100-18

They are free for the taking and all have pretty good tread on them. Yossarian said something about being interested. If anyone else is I can possibly them to breakfast tomorrow, much slimmer chance of Lincoln breakfast next week.

Got home tonight from picking up my XC. I put a couple hours on it in the twisties on the AR/MO border yesterday and got to make my first gravel and minimum maintenance road runs today. I can see piling some miles on this without ever seeing pavement.

No, your computer is fine. I got home at 6:00 after driving from Joplin since noon and I had time after dinner to unload the bike and to either go for a ride or get out the camera and take pics. You can see which decision won. The correct one.

Anyone know a good cheap mechanic in Omaha? I just found out my dad has an old 75 Suzuki 400 enduro on the side of the house he doesn't want anymore. So if I choose I can take it for free! I haven't looked at it yet but was just wondering if anyone know someone who I could get the ball rolling with.
