Hopefully you did everything right. Did you make sure that your ring ends aren't on the exhaust side ports?
That is the biggest mistake that a lot of people do. I have a cylinder in the shop right now, that the owner that rebuilt the thing didn't rotate the rings the right way.

Good Luck

I didn't know that, but coincidentally they are not. So let's say I did know. Manual didn't mention that one.

Yah, that is a number one rule. Your ring ends should not be over any port.
Does that make sense?

It does, actually, after thinking about it. Thanks a lot Aaron, you're a wealth of knowledge.

If you need anything else, just drop me an email. I will be in the shop all day tomorrow.
Then other thing, make sure to put your piston is the right way.
People turn those around all the time.

Alright man, will do. The piston part was easy, thanks in part to the convenient arrow stamped on top of it.

I'm just hoping the subframe I'm getting in tomorrow bolts up. Old one was super, ridiculously bent. Not my doing, either.

If you could have worked in something about my mom or a fiery crash I would score it higher, but I gave you bonus points for mentioning London and the children.

Now . . . I go to stare at foot pegs.

Wow, this guy lost MY vote

Thank you for contacting me regarding LB170. I am inclined to support
Senator Fischer's proposed legislation. The bill does not reduce access
to safety programs; rather it simply takes away the state subsidy.

Sincerely,

My Senator (McCoy) did write me a letter explaining why LB170 was likely to pass.

And he's also been responsive on other issues for which I've contacted him.

Can't win them all. But it sucks to lose 170 because so few of us (concerned motorcyclists) exist.

Funding is king this year, regardless of what has to be gutted to get it. The sad thing is that funding will probably never be restored to stuff like this when the economy turns around and the people currently in office will probably be gone when the full impact of their decisions becomes evident.

Omaha CL - Honda TLR200 Reflex

These are rare and pretty cool, basically a street-legal trials bike. A grand is probably a little steep though. Wish he had pics.

Yeah, stock one should have blinkers and a tail/brake light too though.

Also - the ad says "needs a 6v battery". It's probably small (just to help power the lights/horn) but I'm pretty sure it's 12v. They were sold in '86-'87 and I don't think anything was still 6 volt.
