Go find something with either Owl in the name or a representation of an owl.

Long time no see!

No time for the game lately, but today I got out for a wee, cold ride and got that:

Chouette = French for owl.

So, the new tag for you guys is this:

A Fiat 500.

(Yeah, I'm also playing in the global multi tag! Hehe. I liked the Fiat tag.)

TTFN.

Great day for a ride...

So I head out to get the tag from the local (30 miles away) Fiat dealership....

At the first intersection I stop at I find this...(Grab #1)

But I had plans for other stops so I continued to the dealership for the original planned grab (Grab #2)

Of course the salesman comes out, I explain all I need is a picture and explain to him the ADV Photo-tag games. In turn he tells me about this multi-air technology the new fiats use...sounded pretty cool but I'll have to google it later to understand it better....

So do I get extra ADV points for a multi-multi tag

New Tag

Trying to come up with a cool tag idea I came across this plantation entrance....noticing the flag stone was 1790, I figured it would make a good theme

New Theme: a construction flagstone from the 1700's (or at a building 200 years old)

Must be a stone, or can be simply some indication of the build date? There is some funny stuff over here.

Something that's attached to the building when it was built....no after the fact historical references

First European settlement here was in 1803. The only building to predate that would be Captain Cook's cottage, which was built in the 1750s, imported from the UK in pieces in 1933 and reassembled in the Fitzroy Gardens near the centre of Melbourne:

Getting a motorcycle within sight of that would be liable to get you arrested!

I doubt that stone and/or wall was built in 1790. Look at any other engraved stone and brick work from the 1700's and you will see that they are not even close to being this crisp.

That being said, according to the national historical society, there is nothing from the 1700's in my state. Unless an Indian burial ground/mound counts. The native Americans did not place stone markers on anything though.

Send a message via AIM to California
1800 through 1812? that would be 200 years old!

Not sure when I'll be able to go for another wee ride... Time is extremely limited - and winter's coming. Can't go to work by bike anymore, cause there's usually ice on the roads in the morning... I'll see what I can do!
(My place is a bit too young - 1871. Plus it's not stone, but wood. )
