Stop wasting that 685 kit, and catch the mystery bike next time!

Could not catch him due to the Spillway Self Appointed Lane Patrol agents who feel it is there job to force all traffic behind them to drive 5 MPH below the speed limit. Sometimes they run in pairs so they can block all forward progress on a road...

I'm not sure I remember exactly what he told me last time we talked about it. I THINK he said the motor was terminal and he was looking for a different one, but I could be wrong. He sure is tough on bikes!

Figured it must have been bad since there wasn't any progress reports after tear down. Pity, it was a good bike.

It should be rebuildable. I just need to buy a a $480 gasket kit from England and about $500 in other parts to freshen her up while its apart. It's never easy to get the time and the money to cooperate at the same time. I think in the coming weeks some progress should be made.

ps I miss that bike something bad.

They are great bikes, but Triumph is very "proud" of their parts and service. Hope you get it running soon.

See tslaw? Don't pay any attention to me; I have absolutely no idea what I am talking about! I guess I should more carefully.

EALP, I look forward to the day when you are back on that pretty bike!

Red VFR; scrawny little punk dude riding in neighborhood with golf course. The only reason I saw him was the throttle blipping in the neighborhood caused me to look up on my backswing; I only parred the hole.
