It's still showing clear during the day with a chance of snow at night. I won't be riding, because of the Oracle conference downtown, and as much as I would love to ride my bike, it's easier to leave my car at a park-n-ride.

I would like to show up, since you are meeting close to my work. But I have to come in early so my wife can get in early to the Oracle conf as well, she wil be doing registration, if you see a short gal with brown/red/blonde hair with Elaine on her name tag while you are signing up say HI.

Hrm.... perhaps I was unprepared. It dawned upon me at about 6:22 as I walked through the door that I don't have the foggiest idea of what anyone looks like. I wandered around for ~8 minutes, asked a few groups if they were with ADV and gave up.

Maybe next week I can be more prepared. lol... I'm a moron.

It's always odd looking for the group. Don't feel bad. just look for Rob, he always rides, so he's in gear (Atgatt). The rest of us are wooses, we cage it if it's cold.

Were you wearing a knit cap (light color) with almost shaved head with a bushy beard? Maybe 6'2" tall?

If so, I saw you walk around while I was sitting at the corner of the bar closest to the door. When you came back to the door, I lifted my hand to get your attention, but you made a B-line for the door, and since I wasn't sure if you were with ADV or not, I didn't chase.... I didn't want you to think I was a weirdo.

There turned out to be about 8 of us there tonight. The spot we got was nice, so I can see that little room being in the running when we decide on a permanent place.

Yup, that would be me. Normally the beard is bigger though, and the head hair shorter.



Though it takes a lot of work to keep that beard looking good, so I'm taking a break with a no-fuss length right now.
