WTB: Brown's side stand 81 R100RT

Looking for a Brown's side stand for my 81 R100RT. Anybody know of a good used one available?

Could also use a good battery box and hold down.

Fs: 1974 dt 250

1974 Yamaha DT 250

Bike is stripped down to the bare minimums. I have been using it as a vintage MX bike.

Bike has a PDV lower end with a Webco top end, Bassanni (Might be a knock off) pipe, YZ clutch actuator (Makes sprocket changes much quicker).

Good tires with heavy duty tube in the front.

Foot peg mounts modded to accept KTM pegs instead of the stock rubber units.

I recently rebuilt the front forks to make them more MX friendly. New seals, heavy fork oil, pre loaded springs and I welded up the damper holes and re-drilled them .020" smaller to increase compression dampening.

Spare Parts include:

Complete Yamaha lower end
Spare Tansmission
Airbox, cable, carb, clutch, original tach and speedo, original oil tank, shifters, sprockets, kicker arm, 2 cylinders (One is ported, one is stock), pistons, 4 heads, and a bunch of other stuff.

Runs great and starts easy hot or cold.

Pics:

$500 for everything. Located in Fort Worth, Texas.

Brand New Pagusa Fender Mounted Passenger Seat NIB

Hey All,

Due to getting the wrong item (my fault) and not wanting to pay restocking fees and return shipping, I have a /2 rear passenger seat FS. It comes with all the hardware and the mounting gaskets. I opened it, read the name, and taped the box back up. I think it may have been opened for 5 min at most. $260 Shipped for inmates. Thanks!

I really need a Solo Seat for my /5. I have a good one for a later model airhead that I could trade or pay $. I'd be interested in a clean pan to build up, but it has to be for a /5. The /6 & /7 seat interferes with the rack that I want to use behind it, and I don't like the gap between the seat and my /5 Toaster. Any help would be appreciated.

You can still get them new from BMW for $600

Check out this thread for some ideas. Inmate "Carl" is working on a subframe solution for the G/S and ST. Check out his comments in the above thread and his website.

There is a decent looking one pretty cheap on FleaBay right now. $40 plus $16 shipping.

WTB,WTT BMW Wheels

Looking for wire wheels for my 79 RS. Consider trades for the "Snow Flake" mags that are currently attached to the bike. Not sure what model of wheels would work but thought I would give it a shot.
Thanks
