[QUOTE=SquirrelyGrl;17401555]Hey guys!
I'm gonna shoot for here first ~ anyone got a Honda Hawk 400 CB T 1981 tank? I'm looking for the silver with two blue pin stripes on it. Thought I would check here, in case an inmate might have one.

Or if anyone can point me in the right direction, maybe a link to someone who might have it?

Thanks[/QUOTE

I had gotten out all the Kreem I could, taking it to a radiator shop and then wound up doing most myself. Before my tank got rusted over, I took it to be painted to a guy who painted bikes on the side and was proud of his skulls and pretty colors. I just wanted it back stock. He wouldn't touch my tank, he told me to go to another radiator shop and then get back to him.
My mistake, I let me brother take it that particular shop. He called me 2 weeks later, "Your tank is completely gone" WTF??????
So now my tank has just been sitting. :/
If you get a chance, Bring the tank to me. (I've brought a few back to life) In the meantime, keep looking for a good one and I will too.

Does any one know what year models of the CB400T's tanks will interchange?

Edit: I see Red Bud has a lead to follow.

Puke BNIB - set of Halcyon British Bar End Mirrors

$180, shipped

I'm selling, new in the box, a set (right AND left) top quality 100% stainless steel bar end mirrors, manufactured in the UK, for your classic motorcycle.

Expanding fitting is suitable for handlebars ranging from 7/8" to 1" in diameter with an inside dimension of between 17.5mm and 21mm. The 3 piece angled tensioner sleeves create a far more secure and re-usable method of fitting.

For Sale - 1970 Triumph T100

As seen in flea market:

Time to get rid of the old bikes in the garage.
1970 Triumph T100. Chassis is a T100C (Tiger) and the motor is a 69 T100R (Daytona) 500 cc, Single carb, 4 speed.
New tank paint, late model Triumph electronic ignition, folding pegs. Motor was gone through by the PO within the last 1000 miles. Speedo shows 4629 but I have no idea if it's correct or not. Tank badges don't match in color but are correct for the year (I think the black one was painted).
Included in the sale will be another tank (pretty rough but could be repaired), New knee pads. The horn is not hooked up but I have a switch that will go with the bike.
She drips a few drops out of the primary after a ride, but so far thats all I have seen. There was some residual oil around the rocker box's when I got it but I have yet to see them get wet.
This is not a pristine restoration bike. She is a rider and she runs good. When i first saw this bike, thoughts of trials front, knobbie rear, Bates seat and logger boots ran through my head. This is one fun bike to ride! It's not a hot rod, rocket ship. Just plain old's kool fun.
$3500 obo. Title in hand, new registration, and inspection. Bike is located in the DFW area
Runs great and starts easy.

You know you want to, I'll even buy the beer to celebrate your new purchase.

If I was closer I'd be putting my wife's loyalty to the test.

Beautiful bike. Someone's bound to snatch that up quick.

Want to Buy project or cheap Honda Passport

Have gone about 6 months without a bike since I sold my 71 CB350k3 and I can't go any longer. I'm looking for something nonrunning to fix or an older Japanese bike. Prefer a Yamaha XT500 or 175/350/450 Honda CB or CL twin since I have experience fixing those.

I'd also love to find an airhead BMW or Guzzi project. Would also consider a great condition Honda c70 Passport to scoot around on in the meantime if it was cheap enough. PM or email me at balthazaarcalrissian@gmail.com.

Thanks. By the way I'm in Oklahoma so I'd prefer it was driving distance (a few hundred miles or less) of Oklahoma City.

Nice old Triumph at a good price.

I keep have a nagging voice in my head to go find a simple old school bike thats easy to maintain, No computers , sensors or multiple carbs. Then I go out to the garage and look at the 3 bike projects I need to complete and tell myself maybe next year.

That T100 is gorgeous! If I didn't already have two T120's on my hands, I might could convince the wife.

Darien FS

Grey Darien, made last year. I only wore it for maybe 10k, appx 4 months, in very good condition. It just never fit me right. It is a 38 aka Medium. My friend Mike tried it on for me and he is 6'1" 200#, and he normally wears a 44 jacket. They run very large. $275 shipped obo

It has TF2 armor and the standard back pad. There is a bit of wear on the inside from the armor.
