If they're anything like the BMW airhead rear master cylinders (and it does look very similar) - good luck! If new is prohibitively expensive, then sleeve it. Those things didn't hold up very well down there (on the beemers) and finding a good used one may prove difficult.

So I'm back to square one, in need of a good, usable rear master cylinder for a 1975 Guzzi T-3. Many tonti framed bikes used this type MC, up til about 1980 will work I think.

I have a rebuild kit on hand, so it doesn't have to be perfect, just have a good bore. I could go the sleeve route but would rather not.

This is the type I'm looking for:

PM me if you have one available and thanks in advance!
I went down the same road you did, and ended up buying one just as pitted as the one I had. I ended up having Apple Hydraulics sleeve it in brass and it worked fine. Good luck.

I remember you suggesting Apple when I posted about this a while back. I emailed them on Monday, their quote was very reasonable. I may end up going that route. Thanks again for the suggestion.

LOVE this thing!

Fs 1974 R60/6

*Bike has been sold*
1974 R60/6
Hello folks. Up for sale is a very good friends original R60/6. It basically belongs to me as it lives at my house, and I take it for a spin around the block every week. The bike was purchased earlier this year from Nathan Mende of Boxerworks service out in Watkinsville GA. Not sure who he got it from, but he had it for a while and went through it, and worked out any problems. Spline lube, clutch check(within spec), all fluids changed, new rubber, battery, and general tune-up. The bike has been ridden fairly regularly since the work. It also has the original side cases, not sure of the condition, as they are not here. But I know they open and close, and no cracks. I'll post pics of them as soon as I can. The asking price is $3750 obo. Any questions, or specific pics, just PM me. I have the bike, so I will be your contact, as it is at my house. Thanks all!!!! Happy Holidays!!

Wanted: 1967-1968 Greeves 250 crankshaft

I'm scouring the Earth for a useable crankshaft for the 250 Challenger ('67 and '68 only). Conley in Cali is out. A place in England makes new ones for ~$1,500. Ouch.

Hopefully one of you has one of these stashed away in a drawer somewhere.

Help!
