I'm not a fan of Ural's myself but many are. This seems like a good price to, but I don't really know.

The idea is great.

This motorcycle was owned by a collector, who purchased it new in 1979 and rolled it into his garage. It was not started until 2000, when a fellow I know purchased it, rode it for a couple of months and decided he didn't really want an mx bike. I purchased it from him and have raced 20-25 times, vintage mx. The only non-original items are: rear tire, chain, seat cover, grips and shocks, which I replaced with a set of Works Performance items. They were built for 170 lb, Intermediate class rider.

There are two blemishes: one, a very soft depression in the tank, which is not very noticeable. The other is on the magnesium allen screw mount near the counter shaft; there is a chip, approximately one inch. This happened when the chain came off. When the cover is installed, the damage is not visible. The case itself is not affected.

The front tire is the original Trellborg and must be replaced. The bike has been started, but not ridden since 2006.

$2000. I am located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Looking for a Luftmeister oil dipstick

Hi all,

I was looking at getting a temperature guage for my 95' R100GS and I really like the Luftmeister brand vs. the readily available ones over in Germany.

Does anyone know how I can acquire one of these?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I have read mixed reviews on the use of the temperature guage. I just figured the more info you have the better.
