Like dropping a dump truck off a 50-story high-rise...only worse.

I just thought the same thing. "What goes up, must come down" I'll go over to the Face Plant
thread to see the ending.

That really is a great shot!

I'll let Woody's know a couple more wheels are on the way.

Face Plant?; Screw that. You're gonna' have to go to the Weather Channel, to see the results.

A beach, somewhere, is about to be destroyed by a ginormous wave...

I had a question for the regulars...

When I first started reading about the ST, I seem to remember that some folks thought that the suspension was a little stiff.

My findings were exactly the opposite. I feel that the suspenders are a little soft, for my taste.

I've caught some really small air, on some of the roads in the Texas Hill Country (cattle guards, dips in the road, etc.), and have heard the bottom touch-down.

I have checked the suspenders, on both ends, and found them to be set to the factory medians.

What is your opinion?; Do you think the suspension is soft or hard?...

I run the preload stiffer on the front and rear. I tend to travel loaded and I'm not
exactly the aftershot for Weight Watchers. So I vote on the soft side.

My 2 cents; it's soft....

I was spoiled though, previous bike (DL650) was set up by Hyperpro in the Netherlands, and I could ride that bike very hard across bad ground and it would even out the bumps like you wouldn't believe. Unfortunately I was so into the farkling I made the stupid mistake of getting the suspension done at 2.000mi. That never gave me the chance to experience the OEM suspension for a lenghty time, but even after 2.000mi I felt it was just way too soft.

On the S10, I get the same feeling I had with the DL OEM suspension. Driving across some roads I know really well I had to slow down quite a bit because it was just too jittery/bumpy. Also the nose dive, even under moderate braking is a bit too much for me personally. The Hyperpro setup makes a nosedive very hard to happen. I'm up to about 15.000 mi now, so I can justify the change because I do have some time on it now. So this year, it's going to Hyperpro for the full treatment, and I'm sure it will be a transformed bike (especially with the Motorradworks heightening kit )

Don't know what others might say, but then again I seem to think all bikes come undersprung from factory...and before you ask...6ft6in and.....170 pounds! If you want to know how it looks when I ride the S10, it's like a giraffe riding a pedalbike - knees everywhere!
