I have/had, a XD4 and a stock screen. Not all that happy with the noise level. My friend lBever has same helmet with a Parabellum medium screen. Now I have a Parabellum medium. Much better! I'm 5'11". I think the medium is 22".

I ride with a XD3, and my stock screen is in the upper position. For me is ok, but I'm only 5'8" ( 173 cm ).

I have an XD3. The stock screen didn't work at all, so I put on a cal-sci XL with touratech adjuster and that did the trick. I'm 6'5" or so.

TKC80 is more aggressive than the K60, but at the same time is a softer tire. So one thing should compensate the other, and the difference on traction ( road ) should be minimal ???

Need an expert on both tires

before I spend my money

I get what you are saying, but it would just feel like a dirt bike feels on the street.
Which is what I was thinking the buyer SHOULD know. :)

I’m trying now som Mitas E09 Dakar. At the end of March I’m going to Morocco and need a hard tyre…. The Mitas is proven to be REALLY hard!!
I have a 90/90-21 TKC in front and the combo works well, except in a wet tarmac where the Mitas is awful.

The tall screen was a little better.

Didnt get it right until the v-stream tall screen, thats the ticket for me, I wear an AGV D/S helmet with comm system, no issues at all.

Me too. I was using the OEM touring screen and with an XD it was bad. Put the tall V Stream and
nothing but calm air. Just looks a little supersized.

XD3 here with stock screen in top postion. 5'11 no issues.

Thanks everyone. I think I am going with an Arai Signet Q and then will pick up the fly adv helmet for use off road only or with wr250r.

Anyone got any suggestions as to long trip spares.

So far I have listed:
Wheel bearings and seals, back and front.
Both filters
Both ends brake pads.
Throttle cables (possibly)

I considered fork seals but I have them covered with neoprene socks.

When I went to Alaska I packed all this food.

the ADV community jumping to your aid.
