Hey Fred did you own a KLR?

I just beat pluric to it.

Matter of fact, I had two of them, William, and loved them.

BTW, I ended up making my own tool out of a bolt with a 19 mm head, plus two nuts jammed together on the other end. None of that fancy smancy store bought stuff for me.

Be sure to keep your receipt to be able to return the nut when you are done.

Better yet, wear loose pants with a pocket.

I screwed up and lost the receipt. I guess I'll put it in the flea market.

Best offer?

It's in the blood I tell ya.

I at least welded the nut on the bolt. I used a 17mm nut so that I could have both end sizes.

Great Christmas gifts for people who know you have or had a KLR.

Sure will. Just add $19.99 to the price of the tool and I'll include free shipping.

But wait, there's more!

Get an additional FZig wheel tool for free!

Just add an additional $29.99 to the above for postage and handling.

Amen, Bruddah! Ain't it the truth...

You can't post about cameras in a Super Tenere thread... It's against the rules. But you can gush like a schoolgirl, getting all warm and gooey, about the latest model BMW "Roundel Recall Roundup" to your heart's content.

Wonder if the Germans have improved the quality of the mahogany they use in the final drive bearings...

That's one problem I do not suffer from.

You're going to need them if it ever comes to picking this up.

(just ask Karen if you can have them back long enough to do the job)

Forgot to mention in my S10-GS comparison how good the GS's new LED headlight is. I'm now working with my Yamaha dealer to graft the entire front section onto the Super Tenere so I have the headlight as well as the excellent adjustable screen, beak and led winkers.

Will post up the final results when it's done.

Why not try it on the Harley first?
