Pretty cool reading. the daily reports are well crafted prose.

Here you go.I got to meet Eric when he stopped in Dearborn,Mi for the Henry Ford Museum bonus.

I wondered if that bike was in the rally. It was on Killboy a few months back.

Since you asked.......

http://www.advrider.com/forums//show...45850&page=936

The V Stream is TALL! It really allows for dead air and quiet on long slab
rides. If it's a mix of slab and off road I prefer the OEM touring screen. Not
because it is great, just that it is smaller than the V Stream off road and
gives some more air flow to cool off with.

If the Tenere really interests you look hard at it. Many very happy owners here
who have owned or still own competition models that now seem to sit ignored
while the Tenere gets all the ride time. (me included)

I dont like tall and dead air.
I would want small and efficient as in no buffeting and clean air.
Maybe even Madstadt brackets ?

I didn't think I did either. It does spoil you after a while on the highway.
Music you can actually hear.

Several owners on this thread run the bracket setups and have made positive
comments about them. I've never tried that setup.

I had the Madstad bracket with the OEM and parabellum and a V-stream.
After it was all said and done, I like the OEM the best for on the road.

I was talking about "watching" it, not riding in it...

I don't watch marathons either but full respect for those who run them.
