Hey Ray, I'm alone up at the lake so I spent the evening getting caught up on your blog.

Wow. Excellent report and I'm so sorry about Karen. I honestly hope the best for her
and I hope this isn't a trip ending incident. We'll wait to hear. Best to both of you.

Damn it's hard for me to be serious.

Thanks, things are getting better already.

In a previous life I was a military/special forces paramedic. I will ensure that Karen will not have an easy time getting better and as God is my judge, I will do my damnedest to see she gets all her movement back.
Fortunately we have been here before with a broken foot so she does at least trust me this time.

I hope everything is well with Karen too, My daughters father in law died falling off a bar stool, well he didn't die exactly from that, but he fell and they found out he was sick and didn't know it, died a few months later from the treatments to bring him back to health from something he didn't even know he had. So much for the early diagnosis bullshit.

I think I have the lights oriented correctly in the event deer fall from the sky.

I went full retard and somehow managed to lose the mounting hardware for the lights so I have to either fab some up or buy a new set of lights.

I also have the radiator fan bracket mocked. All I need to do is cut the holes just enough to secure the fan and vent while still maintaining some structure.

Wow - Karen's a real trooper!

The impulse to return to Mother Blighty must be quite strong and I sure am glad that your preparations included repeat insurance. But now that you are retired and she is on the mend, it sounds like you are actually in a good spot. No?

Not bad TBH. It could have been a lot worse, at least we have a breathing space with the facility to get buses for the next 2 weeks till we get on the boat over the Darien.
