I believe I have also heard that switching the stock 55w bulbs with 100w bulbs is not recommended on the ST due to heat buildup inside and on the back side of the bulb, is this correct or does anyone have any experience with this? (I could use the search tool as well but thought I would ask first)...
I haven't used either HID setup yet. The KLR owner in me of course says "Go cheap"

Reading how you have had failures and even buy and extra set reminds m why I own a Tenere.
Homie don't need dat shit.

So I think I'm going go with Twinrider,s suggestion.

Geez! Next you'll be using little cardboard cut-outs like R3B did!!!

Seriously... Necessity is truly the "Mother of Invention", ain't it?

Well, my wife was home. When it's comes to the garage I'm better off solo.

I prefer inflatables. The cardboard female cutouts crease so bad when you pack them.

I forgot. I did put a set of Walmart LEDs on the grandkids mini RZR.
Cute but useless for anything more than being seen. I bore easily.

Glad to help!

Nick Stolten's the real "Suspension Guru". Quite the wizard, in fact. Hopefully my little outline can get you close, but he can get you well and truly dialed-in.

Looking forward to your further posts on your new boingers!

One question. I don't understand why I had to be in my 'Birthday suit' while making the adjustments?

Was that a typo? I'll try anything to make it work, it just was kind of chilly.

Geez! You fell for that?

Man, they do raise 'em thick there in Utah!

Well, look at the bright side... Wild guess says that way you at least had something handy that was no longer than 50 to 60mm.

If you're not in a hurry and want to save some bucks do a weekly web search for a discount code for The Retrofit Source. That's how I ended up getting mine for $125. Did a search just now and found this for 5% off. TRSFBLIKE

And apparently a free shipping code. http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...l=1#post677253

Okay, hold my hand for a minute here.

I went to your provided link,

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid...system-h7.html

It asks on 'Harness' between a 'HD relay H7' or a 'Canbus H7'. Which one do I want?

Thanks in advance.
