Risky move, especially if their bike has any issues at all when it comes out.

Ever notice how everyone loves to attack BMW for quality, but they all use BMW as a benchmark they "hope" to exceede?

I didn't say it was, just that the other manufacturers seem to try to place themselves above BMW in advertising. A backhanded way of saying "we are better than BMW". What else would you call it? If they didn't think that was the perception it would be like saying "we are better than Hyousong" [sp]. Not much of a claim!

Now thats funny Helped push start a Hyousong last week here at my office. bike had 1400 miles and the starter was out It was this kids first bike, I felt sorry for him. All it takes is a bad first experience to ruin a lifetime of fun. Some "friend" of his said it was good as any other bike but less money I don't have money to blow but I would pass or buy an older better quallity bike

The shoe was on the other foot while BMW was developing the S1000RR, benchmarking the Jap litre bikes.

No doubt about it! The BMW Engineers had a high standard to shoot for!

Personally I think they did pretty well!

Love!

All the GS bashers. Jealousy is a terrible burden to carry around.

It's not stealing if it was already here, right? Yamaha 1200 Adv Bike

Mr. Fisherman, sir, don't get too excited about that clip, it's a Photochop of a Tenere 660 by an owner of a 660 single - no doubt, talented fellow - but not the real the real new 1200.
