I like the Klim stuff too - not that keen on the price though! I bought a Rev'it Sand suit - good but not totally happy with it so might have to spend the bucks on a Klim next time. One thing is the built-in armour. I've never had a lot of faith in it - aside from the fact there is not really that much of it, there are plenty of opportunities for it to move around depending on how tight or loose the suit is. Seems such a waste to spend good money on this stuff and then there's only a 50/50 chance it will stay where it's needed in a crash. I saw this video which was the final thing I needed to be convinced that a pressure suit is the way to go. I bought a Juggernaut with the ADV discount, and tried it last weekend. Great, very cosy and comfortable, there are some logistical problems however. The Sand jacket just fits over the top, with all the built-in armour removed. Fine in moderate temps, but what if you need to add layers? It's not gonna fit. Need a bigger jacket - crap, this one's pretty new. Anyway there are a number of practical issues with wearing a pressure suit for normal touring usage. I will persevere... I run an Airbag jacket, which is fine if you have 200ms for inflation, but does not do much when sharp objects some into play very quickly.

I'm getting my suspension adjusting knob, which rounded off inside on my recent trip around Australia, replaced by Yamaha under warranty.
![]() Amusingly, the lowest level assembly that the knob is part of is the entire rear shock assembly. So I'm getting a new rear shock fitted for free for what otherwise should have been a $20 fix. Silly Yamaha.

![]() I suppose that gives someone a year to come up with a nice CNC machined Titanium Knob. Can't get the girl too much overweight can we? Cheers Graham
