Must be, can't you tell the obvious cosmetic differences between that pic and the 950/990 that preceded it?
BoldNewGraphics notwithstanding, of course.

Latest press comment (UK Two Wheels mag) is that it will be 1000cc machine based on the TDM engine. That would suit me fine as I'm looking to upgrade from my present TDM.

I hope that's free painting and not a design based on what kind of rumours journalists have heard. I mean, hopefully it will be more like a 990adv and (pleasepleaseplease ) better lookin.

If it would exist a "prayer-smilie" I would put it here now...

The only I like on that draw is the not less than 70mm-diameter fork

Not at all. I'm a proud owner of a 92 tdm 850, couldn't think of a more anticpated bike myself! Just think that motor (or the 900) in a smaller more purposed chassis, better suspension, without that damned 18" front tire, I'd buy one right now!!!

It's in todays MCN with that same ugly artists impression (this time in desert khaki). It's apparently based on sightings of the test bikes in Italy so hopefully it was just an ugly disguise to hide the real look. They also say this "The Super Tenere is ready for sale now - Yamaha's European development team has completed the brochure photography. Expect to see it unveiled at the Cologne show next month, with a price tag in the region of 8000"

I hope that price quote is right. Lets hope that Yamaha don't do what they normally do, and overprice the bike. I hope it will be the cheapest in class, that way they will give BMW something to worry about.
