Sorry....but this made me laugh as "member" has many meanings.

Boulder...i have an S10 and the first few rides i noticed my hand getting sore in the joint areas on the back of my hand, basically reverse of the palm. I had to adjust my lever in towards the bar a few clicks, and then after a bit the clutch felt like it softened up a bit. I might have adjusted to comfort, or it actually did. Not sure where your hand specifically was hurting and I dont know if it is similar to what I experienced, but dont let that issue you stop you. I have owned 8 motorcycles since 2003 and the Tenere is by far the best one of the bunch. There were a few high priced Ducatis in there too. (749S/MTS)

I miss riding so much. I just wish I was healed already. I just got test results back saying I wont ever be able to control my knees enough to not need custom leg braces. at least my braces are S10 blue.....

9000 miles and definate signs of wear on front and back disks, ridge forming, 30,000 miles on TDM 900 about the same. When is the XTZ900 due?

15000 on mine and the rear is very noticeably wearing. Fronts still look/feel fine.

Keep in mind an-unbroken in bike with high compression (I think the Tenere is around 12 to 1) will feel like a jake brake when you let off the gas, especially coming from a DR 650. That could be what is throwing you forward into the bars. I let my friends ride the Tenere and without fail they tell me, "man, I rarely had to use the brakes."
