I have since learned my lesson and my garage is filling up slowly.

P.S. My wife also doesn't get it. I get the "They all look the same, why do you need three? You can only ride one at a time!" and other such nagging

Looking at picking up this bike.

http://www.trials.com.au/forum/downl...hp?id=4064&t=1

Are parts easy to get overseas etc?

Can you trail ride them slowly like the TY250B or are they strictly a trials bike like the Sherpa T and Cota?

Can't find too much on Google about them eg- what size tank do they have fitted?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, I know it is in a Honda thread. but thought I would get a good response here.

Very nice Cruzy. Is it just out of rego?, or is that an old sticker..

It looks to be in very good condition, good find.

I'm no expert on trials bikes, I've only ever had this one and never competed on it, but that TY looks to be much the same design format as the TLR, which popular opinion seems to be that it's not a real trials bike (the TLR), more just a fun sort of grasshopper. Which suits me perfectly, that's how I ride.

I recon that would look good in my shed.

Some day I may have 16, but 6 kids makes bike money scarce.

An old sticker.

Will have to get a look at it in person.

Believe me, I feel your pain. With 4 meself, most of my fleet was purchased as projects or rolling basket cases. I have whittled the non-runners down to 2, (another TY80 and my RZ350) and they are on the agenda for this year.

Also sounds like you need a passel of Mini-bikes for all those kids.....

I can think of a certain XR600R that needs a little attention for this season as well!! Now quit jabbering and get to it!! (I would like to see the RZ on the road again though!)

So I built this, not exactly true to the original but I'm going to use it for trail riding so this is more useful for that purpose.

Big block of foam.

Bracket under the fender to support the weight

Not overly professional but not too bad for a first attempt at upholstery.

And I gotta tell you, its pretty comfortable

Trail riding hey, sounds interesting. SEQ area?

The seat job looks better than the original on my Alpina or Mountaineer.

Thanks for the comment Cruzy,

SEQ yes, but mostly just around the farm here, I've got 120 acres here to hurt myself on, but I still think it would do the Dalbymoto rides ok, albeit at a much slower pace, although being a natural tightarse I begrudge paying $70 to go riding for 4 hours. Ten years ago it was 20 bucks all done, now you need an MA day license at $20 and $50 entry

Also now that the bikes all pretty the wife has decided that she'd like to use it to learn to ride.

Cheers,
Pete.
