Never met an Englishman who didn't have a far better line of bullshit than I could ever imagine. You guys have a long history of understanding Ireland and The Irish. Kinda the way many people in San Clem understand Mexicans and anyone even slightly to the left of Karl Rove.

RMO, well done sir, you have found my weakness. You can impugn the character of my mother, question my sexual orientation, slight my credit worthiness, but nothing will set the dagger deeper in my heart than the accusation of being English! I bow to your prowess to offend.

My don't we take ourselves seriously. Did you surrender your sense of humor to the Black and Tans?

No, I'm about two generations removed from encountering any of them. But I'm well used to meeting gobshites nonetheless.

Abo's Pizza
When I was in High School I worked at the Abos the 1400 block of the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. It's not there any more. Probably replaced by some boutique.

Any former Pizza Man knows that after making tens of thousands of pizzas, the process becomes ingrained in your brain and never forget how. I make it at home sometimes, but pizza is hard to make in a conventional home oven. Even cranked all the way up it never really gets hot enough. Don't be surprised if a small gas fired pizza oven arrives at CasaTrice someday.

On the subject of motorcycles, the 10 Minnesota riders plus Tury just came up the Espinazo today, are in the San Augustine in DGO tonight and heading north tomorrow through the Mennonite country. They are in great spirits (the cold weather doesn't affect these people). I think CWC or Sleddog is going to do a RR when they get back home. It should be good!

If you boys ride even half as well as you sling words I haven't a prayer's chance of keeping up.

You will have to waterboard me to get the secret recipe!

Actually they had a commissary that made all the dough and sauce and delivered it the 2 or 3 shops back then so I never knew. But it's not complicated. The trick to good pizza dough is to use high protein flower. You can even add some gluten powder for extra protein, a lot of olive oil and honey for a sugar. Abos is good pizza!
