But he preaches that message to anyone in the Mission Bar...

I was discipled, but I already knew the truth (and the truth did set me free- from Budweiser) that "Mexican Beer is Good"
And the nearer to the source, the better, of course.

Ask people in Mexico that work with tourists for a living which countries have the most pricks visiting-I have & it isn't the USA they will tell you... though I will say I was sorta surprised by what they said.

I rented a scooter in Puerto Vallarta back in December. The vendor told me that the worst pricks were Germans and the cheapest bastards were Mexicans.

So the answer is: Norwegians. I was talking to a MX waiter in central Oaxaca and he had worked several yrs on cruise ships. Honestly I would have guessed the French. Say what you want but a son said when he was in school @ Budapest Tech U., they were his freinds but had more "nationality hangups" and general arrogance, etc., than all the other students from abroad there. I have personally heard enough BS from Americans while travelling to disagree. That of course comes from an English speaker so you go with what you understand best, so not scientific. I often ask Mexicans "that question" and never seems to be USA.
Having done a search, with nothing much from it, I am starting a new thread, "Is GT safe?"

Not bad, but a Spanish Speaking Weather Girl would better fit this Jeopardy Category

How is your castillian spanish?......In poker terms, I'll match your Elita Loresca and raise you an Ana Ramirez, es de España:

With Ana, its always wise to check the weather in the mountain regions

When you say "last year" that was all of what ... 2 months ago?

I thought that it was open but I'm getting ready to suggest that some folks ride there instead of through here, and just wanted to make sure before I sent them over to Laredo.

I ran in through Reynosa and out through Nuevo Laredo on the Oaxaca trip. Both crossings I would recommend with the caveat that the aduana at the Hildalgo bridge was not open when I crossed so I used the Pharr bridge.

Hmmm.

I think I could put up with the Espana lisp, and even be driven to learn the vosotros tense.
