Everyone seemed impressed by how easy it was to pull the KLR back onto the road. The Ultra would have made an impression all it's own.

Whereever it was invented it is more important to end up with a good one vs. a bad one as some I really like and others are terrible. Salad or not,I am avoiding the town for awhile.

I used to really enjoy Tijuana but that was about a decade ago. It's a pretty tourist-friendly place with a slight edge, much like our own local and beloved N. Progreso, only bigger and more international.

Caesar's:

This is not where I saw the sign taking credit for inventing the salad. We saw it in downtown area on a formal restaurant with a large plate glass window...

Not quite sure what to tell you. If you look at my photo you can see "Caesar" painted on a window but the window is covered in paper and only the very tops of the lettering are showing. It was, when I was there, a pretty decent restaurant. A few blocks from the jai lai pavilion and across the street as I remember.

I only have 2. One shows the bike off the road, the other after we got it back on the road. But don't worry, the guys took plenty of pix and they will all be posted here eventually.

Spending tonight at Kiko's house in Jocotepec, BTW.

I ground up the last of his whole bean java here recently. If you can score me another bag of coffee (whole bean, but doesn't have to be Oaxacan), I'll pay you back.
