What's the update on the libre and the cuota have they been repaired up to standard or is it still better to take the high plains road (57) from PN to Saltillo? I haven't been down there since the rains/floods.

Thanks,

Mike

The bridge at Sabinas is up the rest of the road to Saltillo is a blast...even more fun if you take the libre let me know if you are going

Oh yes I do....

Sitting here with a negra right now... however, I think its past its prime- has a bit of a bandaid taste to it.

Leave it to the Mexican to make a fine, inexpensive Vienna Lager.

Mexicans may not love Maximilian, but they got some fine 'technology transfer' from the Germans.

During my trip though Central America three years ago my laminated license copy never worked once. Four years ago it worked every time.

So you're to blame!

On a brighter note, it will only be less than about two months before this years batch of "Noche Buena" hits the shelves!
A terrific beer, but only rears its foamy little head once a year.

Helmet??

So the official law in Mexico is helmets are required........as I remember from 2 years ago I rode without one but with it prominently displayed and had no problems.

Any thoughts? Other than that I should be wearing one! :)
