HeyPilot!

I just rode from Reynosa to Zac on the 22. Paid full price, 600 pesos aprox total, riding only cuotas. On Every toll booth I had the collecting lady call her manager to double check if about the 50% disccount for motorcycles. No one was even aware of the recent law change.
oh! there were some mad drivers behind me at every booth, while the manager was located to answer my question!

Definitley an M-16 variant in a pistol-caliber. The rifle design has gone into the public domain and there are more manufacturers of them today than you can shake a bayonet at, so there are some out there in .40 caliber and who knows what else. But about 15-20 years ago the 9mm versions were pretty popular as a poor man's alternative to the H&K sub machine gun and I'd say that's what the gentleman is carrying - 9mm M-16/M4 (call it what you will) with about a 10-12" barrel.

The cuotas are still full price, there was a mention earlier that it would come into effect within 180 days.
So, you either pay it or ride under the bridge like I did on the way to meet up with Andres and his great family, yesterday.

Congrats! She's beautiful and ready for the twisties

I can't get enough of the Espinazo, so I'll shoot to be back to run it with you.

I'd like to run back to the coast, but also take that route you mentioned when we were at your house, the one up into the Mennonite area

I'd also like to see a silver mining operation. Maybe that hacienda in that caldera.

No, nothing to do in Durango
