MaryPaul you should at least try to blend in by saying something like "When I ride my adventure motorcycle in Mexico I think it's much safer when I wear the contact lenses I bought at contactlensexpress"

PM on it's way!
I'm wondering if "she" is kin to Peter,Paul & Mary?

I posted a (quite mild) mention of the sopa/pipa thing on BMWMOA Forum the other day, as what is likely the largest MC website was blacked out, etc., & was promptly rebuked by the "taliban" there for going political. Of course other members came to my defense as they saw it as a larger issue that could affect MOA Forum as well. Truth is, its comfy here where you can express oneself w/o fear of reprisal on every little thing . With that ADV "comfy" comes the constant scrutiny of human nature from the beasties here

Here's how you know SOPA & PIPA will be DOA and buried at sea. Congressional representatives have already had almost record setting negative feedback on this. And now, all the major internet presences like Google and Wikipedia have to do for a second act is, if necessary, to stage a week long blackout, and Washington will be burned at the stake. That threat looming over the lawmakers head is now real. People want their 'net, pure and simple, and they want it untouched. They may be dull to action on the deficit, but mess with their websites? Nuh-uh, ain't having none of that.

When Baldy blacked out ADV for a day, many people for the first time bothered to check how to find their elected representatives online and send them an angry message. Multiply that by 1,000s of similar audiences, and the flood of negative reaction to SOPA and PIPA can be envisioned as huge.

Thanks for the ups tricepilot.Yeah I cant believe how braindead and brainwashed Americans are.YOu really have to love it that we have allowed to be souled out for cheap labor and still have the wool pulled over our eyes over alot of other things.People should be furious w pitchforks and shotguns in hand. Today at work co workers brother inlaw was in NAM in the marines ,anyhow he has a leather bomber w MArines ON IT.On the label made in vietnam,WTF what a slap in the face to our troops,so our mens had to die for what nothing,so some one w an agenda could further it while thousands died in vain..I was pissed. other co worker was what a freaking joke.Anyway Ol man use to tell me people are people and no matter where you go people love to have fun and do the same things as us w families etc.He told me When you run your mouth and trash talk and mouth off thats when you look for trouble, keep your mouth shut and most people will keep it moving. You could easily go into any american city and get gunned down or drived by.People are such dopes in how they speak and think. If I had the money Id be going to mexico this year but I have to pay down some of my loans, get it now pay for it laterYall have a great weekend and happy riding yall be safe

Now, that's enough to start me lookin for a couple of Colorado KLRs!
I plan to cross at Prisidio first week in February, heading south. I will be carrying my own shot glass.

Un Ejército al Amanecer

Sleeping Giants

Got up at 4 to get Casa Tricepilot ready for the Rise of the Intrepid.

Schizzman, Jimmex, and Bob C. are tucked away in their slumber dreaming of today's downrange expedition into Mexico.

Breakfast is waiting on the kitchen island, coffee is brewed.

Four GSAs are fueled, packed, and ready.
