I don't know about a GPS mount, but that photo clearly shows a sheep mount :)

Good information, looks like they will do well with the tourist tshirt trade, these things interest me as I was in the home brew industry for 25 years. Thanks for the link.

Mexico safe? Are you kidding? I live in southern AZ, and there is a full scale war going on here near the border between police, border patrol, and Mexican criminals, drug and illegal alien smugglers. Many people have been killed. I won't even ride in the desert around here without being armed.

none of us doubt that. once your into mexico for a few hours things are all mellow. the border, both sides, is the tough place.

Reminds me ... I was in Milwaukee (3 brewery tours in 3 weeks!) and Lakeshore said they were shipping to Mexico.

I have sent them 2 emails to get specifics and no answers so I guess that I need to call.

Ehhhh ... And some of us enjoy border life. The grit, the industrialness. If that is a word. For guys (and gals) that are gearheads nothing is quite as neat as the industrial mechanics of Mexican vs. US trade.

Sorta along those lines, I seem to have an inner ear infection and that is really hampering my riding. If anyone is coming back from Mexico and can pick up a bottle of antibiotics please let me know. Seriously.

I hope not. I really don't want to go to Mexico so I can drink American beer (which I hardly do anyway).
I'll be in PV for a couple of weeks starting Jan 21. I'll check this place out.

That's why I stay away from the PHX area Jerry, it is too dangerous. Come down to Sonora, muy tranquilo, muy calmado and great riding. The worst that may happen to you in the border town of Naco is you will be hit in the head with a pack of herbs launched from a catapult.

as eakins says, roll past the border and all is fine

I'm in Creel at the moment, and I think I feel safer here than in Phoenix.

Trebuchet

I heard that they were using trebuchets on the border to fling product across. This is the first picture I have seen. The next thing is the air cannon they use for "punkin chunkin". Probably oughta leave the gun home if you are going to ride around south of the border. They don't have a second amendment or habeas corpus down there (well we don't have that anymore either). Gringos n' guns no bueno.

Roll over to the Pueblo Viejo hotel and take a photo of their German Shepard named Pregúntale. He'll be sitting out front of the lobby.
