At this time Richard is not planning to start up Mextrek again, although we talk about it from time to time.

Absolutely correct, Galeana and the roads in the region are top notch. Both paved and unpaved. Richard made a name for himself with that ride and he has continued it with his Junction, Big Bend, and now Arkansas offerings.

I also went with him to the New Mexico/Lincoln National Forest recon for a great ride.

Stop by San Antonio on your way south.

I also firmly believe that the lengthy delay in the implementation of the discount for motorcyclists is completely due to Bob Loblaw. They are still waiting for him to go back and fix the damage.
It was only one toll gate. I'll bring my crazy glue this year

I'll bring the handyman's secret weapon, duct tape. And remember, If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. (Tricepilot take note)

I'll second that! Good guy with good tales of adventure riding in remote regions of Central America.

Another Advrider who can do it well on the cheap is our friend John Downs. He might even hold his own with the renowned Sjöerd Bakker for getting the most bang for the Adv buck. Hope to see him in action at Roll The Bones this weekend.

Thanks to those who have expressed interest/concern. The doc says that my symptoms may be related to depression and the brain injury I sustained when I fell on December 6th 2009 while walking to the park a few blocks from my house to go cross country skiing. Don't know what to do about the neurophysical effects of the injury but know that the depression can be treated by pointing the handlebars south. Hope to see some of you on the road this winter.

Sorta along those lines, I seem to have an inner ear infection and that is really hampering my riding. If anyone is coming back from Mexico and can pick up a bottle of antibiotics please let me know. Seriously.

Eakins, the old report was that tolls would be raised for all vehicles and then halved for bikes.
I have a call in to a Federal diputado's offfice to get the word on when. The latest speculation is
it will be in the new year when the new budget begins.

It's 4:30am and the Mystery Rider and I will be circling el Pico at dawn.

Bob, I think that product Trice posted is for Red Andsore and not Red Greene!
I have no idea what kind of wildlife the Mystery Rider will be playing Dr. Doolittle with today.

Sure you didn't mean "Dr Strangelove"?
