Hey Bato and Andy, great to hear you made it to Soto La Marina as planned. I will pass along your regards to Raphael Lago at his shop Motopits.
Had a great ride up through the mountains with DCStorm on his Yamaha. Great fun, we found a stretch of road that maybe Andres and Arte will identify for you ha, ha. I will try to post a picture later of the waterfall with the goats. Long day, we got back around 4pm.
It was a pleasure to ride with you and Andy, give him my regards and Manolo too, over in Huatusco.
Come back soon and I'll show you the road we found today. It connects two of the sierras, I had to try it as the paving was finished and then we found the middle part paved with concrete and we got pretty far on it.
Ride safe tomorrow, watch out for that cold front moving in.

Thanks lightcycle! That is some good info there.

Good info. I'll see how it works on a motorcycle and report back.

Uh Oh. Feeling the urge again to go to Mexico, even though the trip with Schizz, Trice, Jimmex et al didn't work out.

Schemes are swirling around in my head

I'm keeping my paperwork open. If you come up with the right scheme let me know.

Heading for Guadalajara and Ajijic today via the libre route through Mascota.

Hey DC, that was a fun ride yesterday. Hope the tire gives you at least a couple of thousand good kms! It was a Craneguy leftover and he's British so if the tire gives you any problems, threaten to feed it a few spoons of vegemite and that should keep it in line! LOL!
Glad you found the multi-tool, guess the little shops were all sold out for a reason.

DCStorm making an arrival in the sierra. I think only a couple of other riders on here have been down this particular stretch and their first names start with an "A".

Not a bad place to stop.

Men at work...tough job and someone has to do it!

Now, what was he focused on? I am not sure, but I was busy shooting Bambi.

Bowing ceremoniously to pay homage to the late great Ansel Adams. He once said, "When you are taking a picture, turn around and take a look behind you, because you might find another good picture". Or something to that effect.
He was correct, as always.

Here's a hint as to where we were. If you see this, you are somewhere between heaven and earth.

Veracruz is nice this time of year A few snippets from the ride MikeMike (and Bato and Andy, for a while) took yesterday. I'm only sad that I was too dimwitted to turn on the camera when a white Suburban tried to cut Mike off in traffic when we got back to Veracruz. The rant was something to behold, especially when he realized that the car carried the wife of a local politician. He gave her direct access to his feelings about her husband. (politicians like to know what the people REALLY think, right?). Mostly in spanish I didn't understand, but I was told later there were some bad words involved!

Yes, DC, a few colorful words were involved, I am sure your next Spanish "teacher" will give you a few more, ha,ha!
Great video, thanks for uploading that. You know if you had been running the camera during the international incident, you could have financed a part of your trip courtesy of CNN. LOL!
Have a safe trip, enjoy the ride down to Roca Partida if you do it.

Same here. Even testing some new d/p tires here in TX before mapping out the new excursion.

That sounds like every police car in Louisville, Ky.

Way to get out and ride. It has been very cold and windy here in DGO for the last 2 weeks.
