Be back in Carolina del Norte by the first week of March.

Grrrr.... I would say have a good trip but I know ya will. Be careful with the beach sand, can be pretty abrasive down there.

Last day in Melaque. Meeting Carol-ann and Ken Duval for coffee in the morning before heading north to Zacatecas.

Spent mid-day in Barre Navidad and saw hurricane damage from a few years ago.

Then a nice evening on the Zocalo in Melaque.

Met Carol-ann and Ken Duval in La Manzanilla for breakfast. 16 km day on the bike. Decided to spend the day with them and stay at Yolanda's place where they're hanging out. Then off to ZAC in the morning.

The reason this poster of the 2001 Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) movie The Mexican is in La Noria in Matehuala?

Answer: Pitt and Roberts ate here. I moved to their table.

And, they and the crew stayed at Las Palmas when not upmountain at Real 14

Hola!

Two riders from Denver crossing into Mexico for the month of March, planning to cross the border at Del Rio/Ciudad Acuna.

If it were you, what route would you take to clear the border area and where might you stop for that first night?

Thanks for your suggestions.
