Creel/Zipolite

Been to Creel, heading to Zipolite, sitting on the beach in La Serena Chile, warmer and moister here and in Zipolite than in Creel.

The rest of the pics will have to wait. I only have imagemagick to edit them on this silly little laptop, and my priority is uploading them (via dropbox) so the laptop isn't a SPOF. And the videos mean I have a looooong way to go on uploads.

This post most certainly needs a legal disclaimer

And that will take care of that.
Damn Mike Mike I thought the Canadians were sweet and smoothe like their whisky.

Yes, and to put this into perspective for anyone reading this I called the lady involved in the shooting. She said that she'd happily go back although she thought that her husband was a little spooked. They have a fair amount of experience riding in Mexico.

I am looking forward to going back to El Fuerte on of these days.

Alamos? Eh ... I don't totally see the attraction but that's what makes the planet go around ;)

I don't want to remove it because it seems like a really important topic and a lot of knowledgeable people have spent a lot of time weighing in. And I don't have a way to put a disclaimer in each post and anyway I wouldn't want to editorialize your posts. So I guess the thing to do is make you aware that some people feel you're giving a false sense of security and you might want to add a disclaimer.

Thanks,

Baldy, I really sympathize with you especially if you are getting similar requests every time someone rides to California, Florida, or wherever. That is just really, really weird.

How does one issue a disclaimer? "Many of the contributors to this thread live in Mexico. Many travel there regularly. Your mileage and experiences may vary. You are on two wheels in a nation where you probably can't read the signs or speak the language. Be careful and use your brain at all times."

Hang in there!
