My new Vision: Gypsy Rose
![]() Man I'm loving riding this bike. Really looking forward to taking trips with the wife and daddy-daughter trips. This is the first bike I've owned that my wife was as nearly excited to get as I was. That's saying something.

Yes, my mind was initially set on the CCT before being swayed away by the Vision. The Vision rode better for me though the idea of 41 gallons of storage was esp appealing. In the end, the cool styling of the Vision and the spot on handling and comfort won out. I REALLY like the adjustable windscreen. I'd rather not look through a screen if I can help it.

My local dealer just called. They are doing their Victory test rides this weekend. Going to try out the Vision.

Bring your checkbook. You won't want to leave the bike at the dealer. Happened to me. Of course, I couldn't be happier. I love my Vision.

I haven't actually broken out the tape measure, but I reckon it wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn the motor out of my wife's Victory into my Roadking.

First Test Ride
I was curious about the Victory motorcycle and decided to check them out. Right now I own a BMW that I have had since new in 1996 and I will keep it. I am looking for another bike just for fun and thought a Harley Fat Bob might work. Although it's a nice bike, the Victory seems to be a better bike in my opinion.
I got to ride a Hammer and a Vegas 8 Ball. The Vegas 8 Ball really feels good to me. Good handling, nice power and very comfortable. I could see myself on one of these. Price is very attractive as well. |

In defense of DAKEZ, the Vision is a love it or hate it kind of bike. And most folks I talk to about it, HATE the looks and haven't ridden it.

Damn that is a big bike. Massively underwhelmed. Very clunky tranny and just felt huge. I really wanted to like it too! Can't see spending $20,000 on one though.
