I think this would be a much cooler way to do it.
800cc supercharged single. One problem using the Vic motor is the size, it was never meant to be sporty, it's a hunk of motor.

Doesn't save anything on manufacturing costs

Suzuki Savage is a 650. Now the Boulevard S40. And a fun little bike.

The dream that keeps me up at night is that Victory will build something like the MT-01 but with a cast frame like the Core concept bike. They wouldn't even need a new engine since the MT-01 is built around the Warrior motor.

They did a Sportbike prototype, and raced it in an endurance race. I've seen pictures, though I cannot find them right now.
Help from some of the more Victory knowledgeable guys?

One thing I remember is the front downtubes were just removed, as they're just cosmetic, and the standard frame was used. I _think_ they brought in the steering head angle, and used some of the clearance from ditching the downtubes for that. Not sure though.

I like the MT-01 in concept. In practice it looks too plasticky and japanese. If Voctory did a version I'd highly consider it for a second bike.

Raced it at a track in MN. It was covered in Roadracing World magazine back in Jan. 2004. Basically a V92SC frame & suspension with a Freedom motor installed and various bits to make it race worthy.

Thanks for the link! For some reason I was thinking it was newer than that and was based on the Vegas frame that most of the modern Victorys are from

Neat! That is what I was thinking of

Edit: re-read my post and thought I probably sounded rude. SO removed the rude parts

I read it originally and did not think you were rude at all. Thanks for the helpful tip regarding future link help.

BTW, Here is another pic of the bike that I took while at the same event in Minnesota.

You're welcome, maybe it's my Minnesota nice side showing through, can't say something too rude.

Great looking concept for a bike. I'm tempted to say they should build it. But you know if they did it wouldn't sell well at all.
