Canadian Flea Market: Motos & Related Items FOR SALE

This Regional Forums: Canada Flea market thread is to facilitate the exchange of goods for sale between ADV inmates within Canada. Wanted ads must be posted in the main Flea Market forum.

The rules from the main Flea Market forum apply here. Read them first.

There are 2 ways in which you can post your for sale items:

1. Post your item for sale in the appropriate forum in the main Flea Market forums, i.e. Bikes, Parts, Gear, and post a link here with a brief description.

2. Post your item for sale in this thread, with pictures and price. No "make an offer", we ain't ebay... No price? Your ad will be deleted.

3. No ebay, craigslist, kijiji, etc.. links to be posted here.

4. No "bumping".

All correspondence between potential buyers and sellers MUST be done through private messaging (PM) or email. Please DO NOT post your questions or comments to the seller in this thread. This will only clutter the thread.

Once an item has sold, please delete your post. (Click on Edit and then Nuke it.)

As with the regular flea market, posts will be deleted within 30 to 45 days of your original post.

Vendors may not post in this thread, but must use the Vendors forum.

Aerostich darien xxl

Great shape, blue, minimal fading, xxl. I am 6'2". 230 lb, arms and shoulders fit fine but it is too big in the body for me. was a bit big when I bought it and since have since dropped some tonnage. $350, shipped in Canada, eh.

2 items for R1200GS

Hi fellow canucks, got a couple items for sale in Kingston area, Big Flea Market thread links embedded:

1. Used BestRest SprayStopper Has been SOLD to Drif10!

2. Used Nippy Norman's rear wheel hugger. Can be seen on the site that starts with K and rhymes with "Uh-Bee-Gee". Gloss black - purchased from NN direct in the UK and mounted on a 2006 R1200GS Adventure. Bolts directly to rear swingarm, no modifications to the bike are required. Structurally is in perfect shape, comes with steel mounting bracket and bolts. Cosmetically it has some scratches and rub marks on its top, and some minute surface cracks radially around one of the mounting holes. Once mounted, you'll have to pretty much crawl in and stick your head between your rear wheel and subframe to see them. $75.00, including normal (4 day) parcel shipping anywhere in Ontario, or pick up in Kingston for $65. Outside Ontario, we can negotiate the price.

3. Kildala2000 rear rack extension plate for R1200 GS. Made-in-Canada Kildala 2000 steel rear rack extension plate for R1200GS that comes with mounting bolts and bracket, and bolts directly onto the stock BMW R1200GS Adventure rear rack. I had it on a 2006 R1200GS Adventure for a couple years and it was very handy. 65 takes it, including normal 4 day parcel shipping anywhere in Ontario, Canada or $55 if you can pick it up in the Kingston area. Buyers outside Ontario pay shipping over the $55 rate, I will check shipping costs and we can work it out together. PM or Email me and I can send photos and we can work the deal out.

I don't have PhotoBucket or SmugMug, but here is a composite of all 3 items, and I can send more photos on request!

The Dorso has a 95 hp V-twin, three riding maps- Rain, Touring and Sport. Dual under tail exhaust, dual wave disc, adjustable suspension and great upright riding position.

This bike has been fitted with an Aprilia factory gel seat and a tidy tail kit. Otherwise is bone stock.

Would love to keep it but just no time to ride.

For sale: 2002 Honda VFR

As much as I enjoy having two bikes in the garage -- the D/S and the S/T complete each other very well -- the VFR has to go, stat.

As they say in real estate, motivated seller.

What you get:
2002 Honda VFR Interceptor, non ABS
96xxx km on the odo (which, being a Honda, makes it barely broken in)
New steering head bearings
New front tire: Pilot Road 4
At the back is a BT-023 with 5k km left in it.
R/R and battery changed at 90k km
Laser-cut rear rack over the axle, made by KanadianKen
52 l Givi top box
I can throw in a pair of Joe Rocket soft saddle bags if you wish.

It's safetied as of today.

What I'd like:
$4,000 -- but I'm motivated...

What if you're not in Ottawa?
I can deliver it, from Halifax to Victoria. Heck, it's a sport-tourer...

Are there more pictures?
A full gallery is at
The adventure starts when I throw a 30" leg over a seat that's 37" from the ground...

2008 aprilia 450 rxv

450 V TWIN.
APPROX 5000 KMS (about 4k was previous owner road miles).
uncorked and desmogged

I set this bike up for the Dacre Rally on team Repeat Offenders this year and it worked flawlessly.
I don't get a lot of time for riding off road. (Dacre was the only oportunity I had this year so far) so no use having it sitting around.

I will sell it in stock form $4500 including:
seat concepts seat and stock seat.
light and heavy rear springs.
3 gearing combos.
spare set of tires.
new chain.
stock and AF1 racing dual stage air filter
stock and aftermarket lowered pegs.
bark busters with integral signal lights.
smaller rear signals
compact led rear taillight and plate mount.

I will include at extra cost or sell separately.

20l safari tank
fmx high bars
Rigid led aux lights

As set up for Dacre.

I also have the Garmin 376 and mount pictured above that could be included at extra cost.

Used tires that fit a BMW GS 800 in Muskoka

I've found the tires I like, so everything else has to go!

Hideneau K60 Rear - 150/70-17. This tire has had the continuous center band carved up with a tire groover. It ain't pretty, but it works! $50

Pirelli Scorpion Trail Set - Front and rear. Less than 1000 kms $175 for the set.

All tires are pick-up in Muskoka only!

I'm adorable........and I smell nice!

I have for sale a pair of River Road Twin Iron Gloves, Size Medium. 40$ Plus Shipping.

These are brand new, never used still with tags on them. I would like to get 40$ Plus shipping, which i can only assume is cheap on these.

They are black, armoured knuckles, leather, some minor padding on the palm, and gussets on the fingers joint and perforation on top hand. These are very comfortable gloves, and look fantastic.

This is my second pair I bought as a back up for my first - but the first are still going strong so i figured its time to let go of these.

KTM 530 EXC for sale, has been incredibly well looked after and is ready to go! Ever ridden a 530? Well there is nothing that even comes close on the trails, ride it all day and just float of all the rough stuff and hardly feel it! Price is $5995.

Elka Steering Damper
Acerbis big tank (about 11-12 liters)
Seat Concepts seat
New chain and sprockets with KTM steel and aluminum rear sprocket.
Full Fan Kit (Genuine KTM)
Rad Braces
Pair of new Michelin T63's
Cycra probend handgaurds
Apico gear and rear brake levers
And a handful of other items like pads, grips etc this winter. A valve check was also done.

Only notable mark is a dink in the header pipe, this has been there since I bought it rear plastics a little dull due to the Giant Loop. All cleaned up and ready to go with a box of stock parts like tank etc. I also have a rotopax, Giant Loop bag, GPS etc for extra $$. May entertain a trade on a 690?

KLIM Traverse pants with Armor 42reg

After losing a bunch of weight this spring these no longer fit me. They are used but in good condition. They have been laundered but still show some traces of dirt from off-road riding in a couple of the creases. All zips, snaps and fasteners work as they should. The optional KLIM D3o knee armor is NOT included in the sale.

$200 shipped anywhere in Canada

There is are a few abrasions low on the legs from normal use. There is one tiny tear on one leg, very close to the bottom which, as far as I can tell, does not penetrate the GoreTex membrane - at any rate, it's about ankle height or lower.

They fit well when riding but when walking were a bit long for my 30" inseam, so there's a tiny bit of wear at the cuff - does not affect their use.

fastredbike screwed with this post 07-23-2014 at 03:44 AM Reason: knee armor sold separately
