Ok, I confess that I install most of Rick's stuff 'cause its just so damn cool looking. Who really needs functional protective stuff on their bike? Well, apparently *I* do! I took the GS out this weekend and was snarled up by some nasty deep ruts. Sideswiped the bike into the dirt hillside that effectively broke the factory zip tie holding the shaft bootie thing on and severly re-arranged my brake pedal. I honestly believe that if it weren't for Rick's master cylindar guard (see my picture a few posts above) that this same hillside would have removed most of that, too.

for Rick!

Mine too!

This is kind of a late post, but I got my guard a few weeks back, and was able to get it installed before a trip to WV (See AaronADV's post in ride reports). This is how it looked when I got back:

This is how it looks all clean:

It's a nice piece! Strong, nicely finished, doesn't snag your boots or the nasty stuff that could break things. Great deal on a great farkle! Thanks Rick!

I'm a big fan!

Because I wasn't doing anything else productive, I decided to fall over in the mud to showcase my new skidplate for my 1100GS.

Thumb Got mine today!!

Got the skidplate today and man is it sharp!! Took about 5 minutes to install and should really protect the cat the next time I run over a 'possum on the way to work in the morning.

Thanks for a great product at an excellent cost. Truly an outstanding value!

It's easier to clean the belly when you do it this way ..

Nice sidestand plate, is that one of Rick's also?

Dunno, but I think it was a Wunderlich product. It was on the bike before I purchased it.

I got another care package from the about to be frozen North the other day, and did a little installing this morning:

And now protecting me from gradeux from the back:

I promise that the next time I post a picture of these fine items, they'll look like they're doing their job...

Great stuff, Rick!

Thanks

Just a shout out for Rick. Just got the center stand plate and MC protector...better than expected, and after reading posts here, expectations were not low.

THANKS RICK

No, no. You're not allowed to come out with anything else I "need" for a while...

BTW, he stole the avatar from ME!

Thank you DantesDame! They look great!

Hey DMAC! How do you get your ride so clean? WOW! unless it's a spray on-spray off I pretty much couldn't imagine detailing ALL of those........um....uh...Details!!! (I come to a loss for words pretty easily)

After you clean your GS like that again you might fall victim to more than just a stolen avitar!!!!

Too much time on my hands. A buddy of mine told me I didn't need a GS, because I like clean motorcycles.

What can ya do? Just makes more work when I get home, OR a built in excuse for when I just say "fuggit."

Customer just sent this picture of a Rhino lined Skid Plate.
And a good looking skid plate it is.
