Hi,

This is awesome, if you ever wanted to really know how to get the most out of
your GPS, this is the opportunity!!!!

Knowing how to really use your GPS can make traveling on your motorcycle an even
better experience! While most of us can easily input an address and use our GPS
to navigate to a known location, what about the more complex tasks that your GPS
is capable of? You can do SO much more!

Welcome our guest speaker Cliff Musante, motorcyclist and race track instructor,
who has extensive experience with GPS systems and in particular "BaseCamp" which
is the software commonly used for all Garmin GPS systems and most others too.

This is about how to get the most out of using your GPS by using the Garmin
program called BaseCamp to manage your GPS.

In this clinic, we'll cover the following topics

Understanding what BaseCamp is
Connecting your GPS
The difference between BaseCamp and GarminExpress
Important distinctions (Way Points, Routes, BreadCrumbs, Tracks)
Understanding Riding Profiles
Creating a Waypoint
Creating a route
Creating a complex route
Organizing your data
Keeping your GPS clean
Downloading info into GPS
Understanding "Your GPS is going to recalculate the route"
Understanding how BaseCamp "Synch's" with your GPS (It's a lie, BaseCamp
does not sync with your GPS)
Uploading info from your GPS
Accessing a variety of maps
Understanding maps, and versions
Understanding and using OpenSource maps
Understanding the file system on your Garmin
Playing Music on your Garmin
Connecting your garmin to your Communicator, and your phone

As you can see the topics covered is pretty extensive!

Workshop size limited to 35.

Also, if you want, bring your laptop with Basecamp loaded.

Yours in great health, great riding and great fun!

Also, at the end of the talk I'll be asking you to*complete a short back pain survey,*but you are not obliged to complete it.
