I just signed my better half up. She finally came around and figured out that this would be a good thing for her to do even if she doesn't know anyone else going into it.

Thanks Ladybug! I finally got myself registered...still have to pay. A little nervous about getting there, it's about 1000 miles each way. Ok, I can do this!

You can definitely do it!! :) :) It's only 10 of my daily commutes (that's how I psych myself up for a big ride...I equate it to the distance I commute LOL)

She'll have a good time and it won't take long and she'll know everyone.

Focus on Gold Beach, OR where you'll connect with Sector Once you've connected with her you won't be alone and it will be a breeze. Yep, you can do it.

Let me know if she wants to meetup for the ride to camp on Friday! I think I will try to take the day off, or at least a half day, to have plenty of time to pack, repack, then pack again, and get there.

Just checked the website there are now only 3 spots left. It looks like we are going to have a full camp.

It appears there is an interest in camps like this and hopefully this can be a yearly thing for those that miss it this year.

I emailed with Bret today and he talked me out of renting one of their little bikes... I'll be riding my R1200GS. Go big or go home, right?

Glad to hear the apparel advice... Thanks Ladybug. I'll definitely get some dirt boots for this.

I'll be leaving middayish Friday and riding up from Portland, if anybody wants to connect and ride together.
