Howdy,

Last I was up there, someone had knocked over the large steel gate at the top of the hill, so from Little Fort on to the Taskers side is "open",

first time at gold cup and it was a pretty good time.

the gold cup race itself was crazy, 3 of the riders went down at the jump right in front of us. and my pick (thanks to a knowledgeable friend), bon caddo, won.

im not a betting man, but due to co-worker pressue I put some money down. left $100 richer

I had a epic getoff on the return loop, 5 stitches in my chin and my hand is very swolen. I broke my contour mount off as well

Hope the hand/arm is alright. Good meeting you today.

My only casualty was a turn signal...I think I caught it on a branch or something. How the hell does the housing get ripped off and leave the lens on?

Glad its open. I just skimmed the video - it looked to be mostly shot on the fire road? Did you try the trails or stick to the road? I might head out in 2 weeks - gotta check on the wife's schedule.

I rode two trials competitions this weekend, great fun.

Bummer about the crash and injury, but sounds like it'll be quick recovery.

The approach out of Edinburgh Gap was quite loose and rocky after the first bit of rollers. Looks almost like the whole thing's been graded.

That was peters mill. They changed the 2nd uphill and made the new section 30' wide. Hopefully the hand is quick, i'm going hillclimbing this comming weekend.
