I think you got too much preload dialed in on those shocks...they look a little stiff

Some nice shots you got there My camera battery died pretty early on, then I missed the trials demo by five minutes...still a good day though.

I thought that seemed like a lot of people. We showed up around 10:45 and got out of there a little after 1. Looks like I missed a bunch of you guys.

Speeders Beware

FYI - I have been out on the beltway today and noticed that the troopers have stepped up enforcement of the speed limit. Two of them on inner loop just past Van Dorn, and two more between the inner and outer south of Gallows. Also saw two on 395 that had a car pulled over but I don't know where they were hiding.

I'm thinking that it's most likely to give a show of force with the holiday coming up and keep the drunks off the road.

Good luck with that. XR650Rs seem rare as hen's teeth round these parts.

Do a search on Craigslist under Winchester for XR. Xr in Mt. Airy, Md. It was listed May 8th so who knows if its still around but it looks pretty sharp and is going for $3800.00. his Phone# is 301-252-2013. Also it has been made street legal.

Nice pictures ORexpat, I was there too - Nick is mighty good on the Beta isn't he? I saw him compete at the last couple of D6 events as well.

There's been a pair lurking over in the grass at the Edsall on ramp on 395 south on and off lately...

Still have some sorting out to do before the two stroke is ready for an extended ride, but here are some better pics. Have floats and new plug wires on order which, I hope, will fix a problem with power loss after about 4 miles of freeway riding (and, in any event, they need replacing). New front tire arrived at MFI today, if I can figure out how to lift the front end off the ground I'll send the wheel with Pilette for fitment tomorrow

And a video (audio quality didn't turn out very realistic though)
