Hi Guys

Here's some pics of the Kuala Lipis - Cameron ride on 11 & 12/4/10.
Actually I started the journey from Ipoh to Gerik via Sg Siput thereafter proceed to Jeli, Kelantan using the East West Hwy. Had lunch at Jeli before proceeding to Gua Musang and arrived at Kuala Lipis for overnight.

The route 66 from Jeli to Gua Musang is potty otherwise it is nice to ride for a short loop.

Next morning I depart Kuala Lipis for Bertam Valley, Cameron Highlands via Sg Koyang. The road is pleasantly quiet and curvy except that it is still uncomplete along the Cameron stretch with some road work.

Total distance rode is 810km and being a short loop for 2 days ride I did not stop for pics except along the Sg Koyang - Bertam Valley stretch.

So much a this trip. Perhaps I do a longer trip sometime this year somewhere in Northern Loas so that I can share a complete RR.

Thanks.

Lip Meng

Hi guys

Here's some random pics of my previous ride July 09 to Cambodia with 2 riding buddies from my hometown Ipoh, Perak, West M'sia.

Pic taken @ Aranyaprathet (border town in Thailand) before crossing to Poipet, Cambodia. Procedure is much simple just like any Thai border crossing and Thai Customs Officer there is pleasant and able to speak good english.

Riding home from Phnom Penh over a month later while 2 of my buddies continue to Loas as my leave was cancelled last minute. The route that I rode out of Phnom Penh is via south west route to Koh Kong.

The journey is pleasant and nice scenery which is much better that the earlier route from Poipet to Siem Reap then Phnom Penh. The worst part of the ride home is riding through Bangkok at lunch time along the Sukhumvit Road towards Hua Lamphong railway station near Yoawarat (Chinatown).

Some sample pics taken on this trip........

Bangkok ride.....
