Get out of my head. That is exactly what I have in mind too. Just with bike parking too.

if you have not built the doors yet I would make them open in the other direction... nothing like a door that wind wants to force open while riding down the road.

My 2 cents...

Subscribing. My wife hasn't agreed to tour with me on the bike but likes the idea of a teardrop behind the car so we can take the dog. I guess I can settle for that, especially since i've always wanted to build a teardrop. Planning to browse this thread for some inspiration.

If you are thinking about building a teardrop style camper I would recommend taking a look at tntt.com ( teardrop n tinny travel trailers). You will find a wealth of information as well as some free plans. Youl will find many different takes on how ot build a teardrop.

The front deck on my camper is large enough for my kawasaki brute force 750 ATV.

The deck fitting a bike is exactly how I plan to get my wife, dog, and soon baby to tour with me. We can drive out to the Big Bend area together and then I can spend a few hours riding around. If we can sleep a third adult we can bring my sister-in-law who is also our nanny and my wife and I can escape for some rides together.

Tiny Trailers. bringing families together...by force.

dont look there... it will consume your life and make you realize what a sad wood worker you actually are.

It is the crack of the small trailer world. If you cant keep yourself from it you mind as well as look into the tearjerkers as well...

http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/index.php

I like mine because it allows me to do both. I can put my bike in mine and my wife loves camping in it too...

I keep flip flopping back and forth between getting a conversion van or small camp trailer.................I'm going to take this little Jewell for a test drive (see how it pulls with my Colorado) tomorrow.

http://www.forrestrvs.com/inventory/...SLX-154BH.aspx

My buddy's Dad bought it 3 years ago, his brother (who talked him into buying it) towed it home and it's been sitting in the driveway ever since, not what I would choose for a floor plan, but they said they would sell it to me for the same price a dealer offered to buy it for.
I will be towing it to a trailer fab shop to see about the possibility of extending the tongue to put a rack on it for my DRZ400.
