It's offered as advice, not fact - you can take it or leave it. But I did provide evidence to support it.

Anymore, when someone makes a statement like that, I go to snopes or do a search. People making up quotes/etc. is even getting to be a meme:

Until I see Robin Williams or George Carlin say it on the internet, I don't believe it!

Thanks, took a year, was worth it - kept it off two plus years now. Hate to make internet joke, but need to be leaving for gym in 26 minutes....

You may have got a little better mileage without the airplane on the roof...

The lift generated from the wings relieves some of the weight from the trailer's wheels.
Thereby allowing for less friction and increased MPG.

Does he have a treadmill on the roof-- cause if he'd mount one up I bet that sucker could take off.

You guys are nothing but a pack of cards!

Well, the wife thought every pic like this I shot was stupid, regardless of where we were, so that she did not drive off while I was running out to shoot the pic is about all I can expect I guess.

There's a couple of wierd ass campgrounds around Whitehorse, let me tell you. We never did get to camp at the hot springs due to reconstruction - looked like they really needed it.

I thought Whitehorse was a dump myself. Just a big trailer park.

I sold my 28ft Coleman and just bought (like 3 hours ago) a 2013 Jay Flight Swift 185. Smaller is better. The Coleman was nice but much too big for my needs.
