Man that's a nice trailer setup. I've never seen a trailer like that with a fold out bunk area.

This thread is awesome, and I have become fascinated with the micro-trailers. I thought of buying a big class C but they are so expensive, and really I'm looking for a surf/camp vehicle. I have a 2013 Golf Wagon 2.5L the book says the tow capacity is 1000lbs (2800lbs in the UK, go figure)

So I am looking at one of these, functions as a small camper, and utility trailer. Maybe get a small roof top camper to go on top for the kids, and we are good to go.

I'm out of the 'little' category I think.

Went to the trailer dealer with 2 grand in my pocket, intending on putting a down payment on a single axle 6x12. Price would have been $3002 out the door for a V-nose with ramp gate, single axle, no brakes. Saw a 7x14 there for $4200 otd with tandem axle, 4 wheel brakes, LED light upgrade, and still a ramp gate. Bought the 7x14, as it was only 600lbs heavier empty and either way I have plenty of truck to pull it. Pick it up tomorrow.

Down side is the $1200 extra was going to be spent on finishing the interior. At this point I'll have enough to insulate it and get it good enough to start using it for what I need. I'll have to save up some more money and finish the build later on. No biggie, the stuff I'll put on hold was more 'nicety' than 'necessity'. Fold down bed, cabinets, that kind of stuff. I can get by without for now.

Pictures tomorrow, my phone was dead while I was there. Figures.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. Hell, some of the places I’ve been there weren’t even roads!

Do you have any other pictures of that trailer, please?

Is this a custom build, or is this something you bought? This would be exactly up my alley

Thanks guys.
I built this trailer 16 years ago and just rebuilt it this year, I needed something more for camping but still be able to use it as a utility trailer.
I am adding brakes to it this weekend, it's only 1280lbs but gets pushy off-road on down hills Tepui are great RTT and an awesome company to deal with.
Camping above Big Sur with the guys from Tepui.

If your bored, here's a link to the build pictures.
