Eventually will have a front box, rear deck for my KLR, and LED lighting inside. probably have a roof deck for tent, or watching races ect before it's all over. Not doing any plumbing, and we can cook outside, but hopefully it'll be good for family outings to the rallys/races I like to go to.
I like it!

here's a little photochop to give your wive a better idea.

Bought this thing about 5 years ago, as a cargo trailer. Old man who built it used to work in an ambulance factory...see where the materials came from.

It's just been a shed since then, but lately it's been undergoing a major change getting the seams fixed, rust taken care of, and getting an interior conversion as time allows, just got to cutting out the extra set of wheel wells, and reinforcing the walls yesterday in fact.

What I started with.

The body works is coming along nicely.

My wife and I have been doing some looking for a small-ish trailer that is light/short enough to get into out-of-the-way NFS campgrounds in the Mountain West, able to be towed easily at elevation by a gas 1/2 ton platform, all with a floor plan the makes very efficient use of space and offers some of the niceties of home (dedicated queen bed, dry bath, etc.).

That's tough set of criteria, and a category populated mostly by cheap-made junk. However, on a recent visit to a respected, legitimate RV dealer we came across a line of trailers made for people who seem to be looking for all of the above. The brand is Cruiser RV and the line is Fun Finder X.

Specifically, we (and apparently a lot of other people based on sales) like this layout:

http://www.cruiserrv.com/fun-finder-...s/gallery.html

It's only 18 feet long and 2900 lbs dry. Sure, it's nowhere near as cool as some of the pricey Aussie stuff in this thread, but it's a step up from a tent trailer, reasonable in price, and still very manageable in size and weight. The build quality is also a noticeable step above most of the trash out there today.

Now if the budget would just allow for another toy worth as much as a decent used car.

That is a really nice layout. It is amazing how much wasted space manufactures can plan in to a typical RV.
