I thought the same thing but he got in and out rather easily. Sort of like getting in and out of a smaller backpacking tent only the tent is on a raised platform not on the ground.

It did not look like it was over 6' long to me either but he said he had all the room he needed. Maybe He was on the diagonal a bit? I saw him get in and out but I did not go over and stick my head in the door once he was inside.

Have you put 2 bikes on it yet?
What kind of tongue weight do you have?

I have a similar pop-up without the front deck and have been working out adding the deck to it.
Tongue weight loaded & unloaded is a quandary.
I can make it work with one, but not the other.

Any way to move the axle forward a few inches - to lighten up the tongue?

until you know actual tongue weights . dont worry about it. you can put a equaliing hitch on it . which is the better way.

The deck is 48x84 compared to my utility trailer that is 55x96 and two bikes fit great in that. Its rated for 1000lbs on the front deck, the most I will have on it is 600lbs. I can't remember off hand what the tongue weight is.
I have not used it yet, bought it at end of season sale at dealer, looking forward to using it this spring :)

No. The Gold Wing will be in the toy hauler, and though by default that means it will be among the last items to the scene of the accident it will still indeed be part of the wreckage

Not practically, but even moving the axel does not fix the loaded/unloaded problem.

I have figured out with tongue length how to keep it with in reason loaded (around 600 lbs), but then the unloaded tongue weight is too light (around 200 lbs) and it looks like sway could become an issue.

I cant see how the mfg's are doing it unless they just have really unrealistic tongue weights (like over 800 lbs) with the load on the front tray.
