Trailer works great for three full size bikes now,






And still room for a couple bikes in the back.


And I get around 15 mpg pulling the trailer loaded, not bad.

I've started making this 6x12 cargo trailer into my hillbilly rv.
Here it is set up ready to camp
Next, the camp kitchen/chuck box hanging on the outside.

So, how's it hangin'

Coupla bikes packed in with room for one more. That's a shower test going on above. 7 gals of water took 20 minutes to run out at this rate. I was surprised.




A tarp and two pcs. of emt make a nice shower curtain.

Roomier than what I have at home.

I bought one of those Zodi camp shower heater deals a few years ago. The heater works great but the pump played out pretty quick. So I used gravity, no batteries required. I set a container of water on the roof and start it running through the heater into another container. Light the heater and before long, hot water. Set that container on the roof, connect the shower head and let it rip. First time out, one container provide three showers with water to spare.

It's a work-in-process like everything else I own. I'm thinking a $100 window unit a/c sitting on the floor with that tarp arranged around it would cool the heck out of it this summer.

A 6x12 is the ticket there, my trailer is just a little to small to sleep in comfortably (although we have) and plus it stinks in there from boots and sweaty helmets... I'm gonna order the roof toptent today I think....

Perfect. I have one for my truck and when I upgrade to an enclosed trailer, it will go on it for sure.

I ordered mine yesterday from Tepui tents, should be here in a week.

Having the RTT on the trailer is a great way to go. It's nice to leave all the camping gear in one place ready to go.

This particular tent is approximately 48" x 48" square when folded, but there are other RTTs out there that would be fantastic for that purpose. Google" Autohome OverCamp".

Yea! ^^^^ What he said^^^^

So I got a call from Fedex to schedule the RTT tent delivery next Wed., A friend of mine is making a rack up for my trailer to mount it on and we'll be camping in it next weekend (hopefully) at a two day race in Southwick Mass.
