Death Valley Tracks??
A couple of us are headed to Death Valley in a few weeks. Yehaw!! Been D/S'ing for years by map. I'm a noob w/ a GPS. My 60csx just arrived and I'm loading city nav and west 1/24 topo.
What I'm looking for are legal tracks off the beaten path, single track, etc. connected by the listed roads in the Park or just outside. Thanks in advance if some one has some! PIGPEN

One reason no one has responded may be this subject has been well covered. Look a little deeper or search and you should find lots of info.

gps tracks
Yes thanks for the responses. I did not know how to go about "getting tracks" maybe I should have disclosed that bit of info. As you know the search engine in advrider sucks. looked there, got way too much info, nothing on tracks Thought I would ask here as I just took the GPS out of the box and started loading maps, nooobie on the gps. Countdown, thanks I'll look on gpsxchange, thanks for the info. I have ridden all of the roads in DV just not Trails if there are any. Feeler for info!!! I'll search elsewhere

DV being a National Park is very restrictive. There are a number of unpaved roads with are suitable for Subaru's/SUVs/rental cars and then there are a number that are 4X4 jeep/ modded jeep stuff. There is nothing open to just ATV's or bikes. No off road travel. To the best of my knowledge the same can be said for the adjacent areas. When you get closer to 395 (Lone Pine) there are a few single track options but still pretty limited. Bruce |

track
Bruce,
Yeah, I know the place is very restricted! The roads I've ridden. That's why I was looking for more of the beaten path stuff in and around the park. I have found some of what I'm looking for. Thank you for your input, every little bit helps!!! Later, PIGPEN

Ran into Pigpen and his gang this weekend. They're going to be there for the whole week, so I'm sure we'll see a report once they get back. I hope they have fun.
