Yamabond 7? Substitute?

I am getting ready to mount the heated grips on my Yamaha S10 and the directions say to use Yamabond 7 to attach the grip, is there a suitable substitute? Because no Yamaha dealers near me have any.

Thanks
Ed

Heated grips

I set my grips back over the Symtec heating units using just ladies hair setting spray, as recommended on another website.

Just spray into the grip and on the bars, push them on and let them dry.

Don't spray into the end of the throttle sleeve.

It's been 4 years....maybe longer...and 20,000 miles.....they haven't moved.

Don't let her see you "borrow" some spray!

Sounds like plane grip glue. I've never used heated grips but I doubt that they are very much different to install than regular grips. Some people don't even use glue at all. When I changed my grips I just used a few dabs of some blue locktite I had lying around. Havent tried to take them off yet though. If you cant find the grip glue local try the internet, or just try them without.
