Steering damper for 1999 XTZ660 Tenere

Hi All

I have used google to search advrider on this topic but did not find any results.

Does anyone know what type, brand, model of steering damper will fit a XTZ660 Tenere (1999 model)?

Thanks
Damo

Hey Damo
Send Scott Performance an email with your query.
http://www.scottsperformance.com/

They (Jake Hulsebus) are very helpful and way more prompt than most Oz Steering damper manufacturers.
Plus, you will be able to get the best damper for way less than anyone else in the country with the current exchange rate.

Jake knows his stuff and is more than happy to assist and delivery is less than two weeks.

Two thumbs up for them

Cheers
Mass

+1 on that

Scotts don't do a damper mounting for the current 660 Tenere either but came up with this universal under bar fitment for me.

Hi Tim
From the pic it looks like you had to add a bar riser to fit the damper.
Does this mean that the original rubber mounts are still there?
I was looking at adding bar risers, so this would kill two birds with one stone.
Did the bar riser come with the damper? or did you buy them separate?

Thanks
Damo

It was the other way around! - I already had the Rox risers fitted and therefore wanted an under the bar mount for the damper which Scotts were able to supply. I believe that they can do an over the bar if you want one.

Oh and Yes, the original rubber mounts are still there.
