I wanted that too, but settled on these after seeing them on another inmates bike. They are very effective, easy to install & cheap!

I got a pair of Hyper Lites for my 990 that I haven't installed yet.
I used them on my BMW, they worked great.

How did you wire those up?
I just remembered why I didn't install the hyperlites.
It seems you have to cut into the rear wiring to splice in under the rear fender didn't want to get all into that when the bike was new.

No cutting of the harness, I installed a set of hyperlites on the 950 and it uses those positap connectors. Very simple installation. Great product.

3 wires run up the middle of the rear fender. You have to tap into the wiring for any of these solutions. It's straight-forward. Very bright and very visible. A couple of my friends installed it on their bikes after seeing mine on the road.

Brake! or Break!

http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...light=brake%21

Read the whole thread. I have a Gizmomill Brake! light and it works great but the company is less than reliable.

Or you could put in one of these

I've still got one leftover from the pair I bought. Testimonials from fellow riders is that it's much brighter than the Brake!! The standard 21W globe still fits in there so you get the normal light plus the attention grabbing blink affect. PM me if you want any details. This mod cost me $51. $50 for the light, and $1 for the Tecate I drank to use the aluminum from the can to patch the hole I made in the top of the light. 8000 miles on this mod.

In this video, check the last few seconds where you can see all the bikes from the rear. The SE has a Brake! light fitted, compare to my bike on the right.
